Description
Prototype of a website for a daily newspaper publisher, designed to explore new ways of consuming news and funding the press.
I needed a testing ground that reflected real-world conditions in order to experiment with new use cases.
I am exploring various monetization avenues, such as paywalls, content monetization (sponsorships, image banks, etc.), research services (automated quantitative studies, reader panels), and press reviews for organizations.
Technical Stack
French news publishers make extensive use of Symfony. I therefore wanted to put my PHP and Symfony skills into practice with this project.
I use Python and spaCy (Natural Language Processing) to analyze the tone of articles (positive or negative) and identify trends (most frequently cited individuals or organizations, etc.).
