Description

A flights management application with a mobile version to handle flights rotations and crew members plannings with regulation alerts (ORO FTL).

Following my experience at CyberJet, I wanted to develop my own application in the field—this time taking the lead rather than simply executing tasks.

This allowed me to deepen my skills and delve into areas that were previously inaccessible to me, such as air-to-ground communications, real-time flight mapping, and flight simulation.

It also serves as a vast playground where I can keep my aviation skills sharp, stay up to date with regulations and industry challenges, and continue designing and innovating.

Tech Stack

I based the project on CyberJet’s technical stack—which is widely used within the .NET ecosystem—utilizing the React/Vite and SQL Server combination.

A notable difference is the use of an open-source library (Radix) rather than a proprietary one (Syncfusion); this allows for the design of tailored interfaces while leveraging AI, which can draw upon a vast array of examples and use cases from the developer community.

Furthermore, the scheduling component relies on no specific scheduling dependencies, offering me great flexibility and the ability to handle significant complexity.

I also planned for the development of a cross-platform mobile application using .NET MAUI for crew members working in the field.
